Re: Eating Disorders

There's a heartbreaking documentary on HBO about an eating disorder rehab center. I was thoroughly depressed after watching it these young women.

I don't have a disorder.

I saw that one... it was so depressing... made me realize that some people suffering from eating disorders may never recover. Chat Icon

I would pick option #2, but I HAD one in my late teens/early 20's and had treatment. I don't like to think it's a disease that you'll always haveChat Icon

I was extremely fortunate to live in a country with fee healthcare and received the most amazing medical and psychological treatment. I believe the experience made me the person I am today.

Unfortunately some don't. My dad's friend at work had to watch his daughter die. Chat Icon

While it was going on my dad asked me for the first time about my issue.

Re: Eating Disorders

I absolutely did have one, back in my ballerina days! I was 98 pounds with no period. My hair got brittle. It was gross. I am 120 and healthy now, but sometimes, I slip in an out. I won't lie. PS I am 5'4
