Re: Eating out and regrets

I'm not a good cook, so I never feel that way. Also, I love eating out for the atmosphere as well as the food.

Re: Eating out and regrets

Yes, but only if we aren't happy with the food. We love eating out and really enjoy going to restaurants that make things we can't prepare easily/well ourselves. I'm pisssed if we go somewhere and think the food is only mediocre because we could have eaten somewhere else or at home. I'd rather go to one great dinner than 2 mediocre ones for the same price.

Same thing with drinks (at least when I could drink) -- I hate paying $$$$ restaurant prices for something I could just as easily have at home (a glass of wine, a beer) so I usually would order exotic cocktails that I wouldn't think to make or have the ingredients to make at home. Mmmmm I miss that Chat Icon

Nope, never -- going out for me is about the whole experience. So as long as the food is good, I am happy!

Re: Eating out and regrets

Whenever we go to the diner for breakfast... it always comes out to 30 dollars or more with tip and every single time we say we should have made breakfast at home and saved the money...... 30 dollars for cofee, eggs, and toast....

... but we still end up going the night after going out..

Re: Eating out and regrets

I get mad at the bar bill..for example one of my favorite bottles of wine getting jacked up in price by 3 times. Stuff like that annoys me..
