Ectopic
Hi ladies...I had an ectopic pregnancy burst and my left tube removed surgically 2.5 weeks ago...I saw my obgyn this week and she cleared me for everything, but told me to wait a few months before TTC again...can anyone share how long they were told to wait before TTC? Thanks!

Once my pregnancy hormone levels went down to zero, I was told to wait one cycle. However, I didn't have my tube removed. I got the methotrexate shot and it took three months for my levels to go down. That was back in March.
We will probably start TTC again in a few months. We are taking a break for personal reasons, not medical. HTH.

sorry you had to go through this :( i had an ectopic that resulted in emergency surgery with my tube being removed as well. that happened in july (2010) and we started TTC again in sept so we took about 2 months off.
