Electric fireplace
Does anyone have one? I love fireplaces, but our new home doesn't have 1, so I was considering getting an electric. Any ideas. I see some online, but are they really as big as they look?

Re: Electric fireplace
If you have gas in your area, I would look into a gas fireplace (or do propane). I would think the cost to run an electric fireplace would offset the beauty.

Re: Electric fireplace
I have one. We got it from Home Depot. It does use a ton of electricity to run the heater portion of the fireplace. I just turn it on (the "flames") for looks.
