engagement gift & a house warming
Our great friends just got engaged, whats a good gift for them?
I truly do not remember getting gifts that wowed me, and I'd like to wow them
Other friends just bought a hosue, and I need ideas for them too.

I just bought this for friends of mine that got engaged. They loved it.
Frame
ETA: CG to Home Depot for the new homeowner's. It's not a "wow" gift but something they could definitely use.

How much do you want to spend?
Tiffany has great vases and bowls.

Simon Pearce items make good gifts. You can order from his website directly and Saks at Walt Whitman carries his line as well.
Don't know how much you're interested in spending, but William Yeoward has beautiful crystal bowls, vases and decanters. Again, Saks @ WW carries his line.
ETA: One of my favorite gifts from our friends was a sign for our house from the Chatham Sign Shop in Cape Cod.
