Evaluation privately Updated with another question
Has anyone on here had their DC evaluated privately ? And if so who did you use?

Updated: May I ask what was your reason for getting your child evaluated privately ? Also does that evaluation mean that it is not on his school record?
I ask this because I am not sure if they diagnosed my son correctly and I want another oppion without getting the school involved yet.

Donna Lederman, she has a website. She is now his therapist. He was diagnosed with apraxia and working with her he has made more gains in 6 months then he did in an entire year through the CPSE.

we are using them as well. We used Kristin. We have been going to them for a few weeks now, and seeing some nice spontaneous speech already.
Christopher LOVES going there.

we just wanted another opinion.
we could have presented it to EI/CPSE but we opted not to, because both reports were almost identicle.
