evenflo vs. born free glass bottles

We'll be registering soon and I'm trying to get the most bang for the buck, but also want to know which bottles are best. The Born free are so much more expensive than evenflo! Are they really THAT much better? Could you share your experiences?

I would never use glass bottles. I *know* all of that BPA talk which *could* cause a problem, but broken glass DOES cause problems. Plus, how is DC ever going hold a heavy glass bottle.

If you are concerned about the BPA issue, both Avent and Playtex make Drop in bottles. We use the Avent ones and like them.

I would stay away from glass bottle, I am clumsy and would be paranoid about them breaking.

Re: evenflo vs. born free glass bottles

Steven used glass bottles and we NEVER broke one! I stopped using them around 9 months, when he started throwing them. Even with him constantly throwing them, they never broke.

We had the evenflo ones. Aside from a small problem because of the formula we used at first, he never had gas issues due to the bottles. I will definately be using the glass for my next child.

ETS: He was holding the bottles by about 6 months. So they are not too haeavy for a baby to hold.Chat Icon

I dropped my glass Born Free bottle before and it did not break... if you dont want to get glass then Born Free makes BPA free plastic bottles as well...
