Everytime I ask my friend
what she is making/they are having for dinner, it is NEVER a cooked meal!
Taco Bell Chinese (At least twice a week) TV Dinners KFC McDonalds Boston Market
***. How can people live like that? Make your man a home cooked meal. Make a Hamburger Helper, tuna casserole, anything easy, just stop eating CRAP and being a lazy slob. Ugh!

Re: Everytime I ask my friend
forget making the man a meal, I need real food for myself! It's okay once in a while but I'd get sick from all that crap all the time.

Re: Everytime I ask my friend
I could never live like that. I'm not by any means a good cook, but I do my best. DH gets a home cooked meal at least 3-4x a week.

That's the problem. But I wont get into it, because I have been slammed before regarding weight. They are both extremely overweight, and I am quite sure that is the reason why.

ditto.
and... i have no desire (or skill... or desire to have the skill) to "make my man a homecooked meal". Either he makes it... or we eat out
do you really consider your friend a 'lazy slob' though?

Re: Everytime I ask my friend
If Im not working at night, my dh will get a meal home 2-3 times a week. Last night he called and I wanted a veggie sandwich from Quizno's so bad, I asked him to bring dinner home. He was happy to do it. I get comments from my grandmother most of the time "Thats not dinner..Blaaah blaaah blaaah"..My response "Gram, I work 2 jobs, I'm pregnant oh, and by the way, this is not 1950!"...Yeah, I get dirty looks, but, sorry..we are busy people!

Re: Everytime I ask my friend
It certainly depends on my mood and week... there are some weeks that we're eating something take-out every other night, but most weeks we're cooking something, whether it's from scratch or out of box.... sometimes we do what's convenient.... we def. cook more during the winter.
