extremely DRY at night!
I have a cool mist humidifier running every night and I wake up at least 3 times per night and my mouth is totally dry. My tongue is like sandpaper! What am I doing wrong? It is so aggravating! And the humidifier is on my side of the bed, about 3 feet from me. HELP!

Re: extremely DRY at night!
are you taking any decongestant or antihistamine currently?
I sometimes leave the window open a crack to get fresh air. Winter air can be so dry and inside stale.

Re: extremely DRY at night!
Try using a saline nasal spray. I use it several times a day and that really seems to help. Also, make sure you are drinking enough fluids. If all else fails, you can try using some triple antibiotic ointment in and around your nose (use this for my stepdaughter who is prone to nosebleeds). Also, medications can cause dryness as well, particularly antihistamines and I think certain prescriptions like anti-depressents.

Re: extremely DRY at night!
If the heat is too high I get this, cracking the window helps too.
