i had the faintest line for like 3 days; then gradually got darker

Dr called this morning...i am NOT pregnant!
i asked about a possible chemical pregnancy, he said he couldnt really say since most people dont know they are having one. maybe he didnt know much because he is not an OB/GYN?
Im still confused about the whole faint line thing, as long as im not PG im happy! thanks for all of your input, just thought id update you all.
