Fall birthdays and parties
My son has a fall birthdy toward the end of september. I am not sure what I should do about inviing kids from his class. he is going to a new school next year.
did you invite the whole class on the first day? or do you just have close friends?

Re: Fall birthdays and parties
I posted something similar bc DS has an early Oct birthday and the responses were that it would be great to invite the entire class as it would give the kids and parents a chance to meet and get to know each other.

Re: Fall birthdays and parties
DD's b-day is at the end of October and she starts kindergarten in Sept.
Not sure what I am going to yet. I may send out the invites to her non-school friends and then wait a week or 2 to see how school is going. Then I will either invite a few - the kids she talks about or i may suck it up and invite the whole class. There are about 17 kids in her class.
Her party is going to be at home so I plan on doing it in early october so there is a better chance of nicer weather.

Re: Fall birthdays and parties
DS's birthday is Sept 25 and I'm having the same issue. I think I'll just invite his class, some of the kids are the same from last year so I'm sure it will be fine.Last year we went to a party in early Nov and it was a great way to meet the other parents/kids.
