If the law won't give this monster the death penalty, then this father definitely should!!!

I am right there with him. I'd stop nothing to slice this guy into pieces so small they'd never find enough parts of him to convict me. I would totally disconnect from reality and enjoy every minute of his suffering.

sick sick people in this world. I cant imagine the daily pain and suffering that poor family has been going thru.

I'm reading a book just like this right now. "Perfect Match" by Jodi Picoult. Great book.

Anyway...that father wants retribution.

Kill him and plead insanity.

I'd so be arrested if anyone harmed my children.

I can't say I blame the father for wanting to do that. When it comes to family.......it just becomes automatic.

The looks of this f'ng creepy guy doesn't help either. He deserves worse than he gave.

Poor kid. Chat Icon

I do not believe two wrong make a right. I do not believe in eye for an eye. If the father chooses to retaliate in this manner, he should be prepared to face the consequences justly. The judicial system is not based on the eye for an eye mentality. And TBH, some of the responses her disturb me Chat Icon Perhaps some people will applaud this kind of retribution, and maybe he'd get off on this crime if he were to ever committ it, but it leaves a very bad taste in my mouth.

To be honest with you, I'd be just fine with living the rest of my days in jail knowing that that SOB was no longer walking around this earth and that no other child would ever be harmed by this monster.. If anything ever happened to any of my children, my life would be OVER.. I'd have no reason to go on..

I do agree with this but also know personally if it were me, I couldn't go on with this guy out of prison. Some states don't have the death penalty even for the most heinous of crimes.

first I want to say that man sounds like me.

second I want to say he is an idiot for saying it outloud. unless he is trying to influence the parole board at all.

or

he wants to do it so badly and doesn't care if he will go to jail. I can see that too. very clearly actually.

I do want to say though, that b/c they struck a plea bargain to spare themselves the trial, that is why he's eligible for the parole in the first place. I understand the REASON behind not putting yourself or your spouse and family through the trial. hearing every bitty detail of what you son went through, BUT Life w/o possibility would have still been on the table had they gone to trial. and I am pretty sure that is what they would have gotten.

ITA. I couldn't even imagine if it were my own child. I would be blind with rage. There is no consequence great enough that could hold me back from killing this man... slowly and painfully if possible.

The only thing I think the dad is wrong about is announcing it Certainly makes it harder to kill him if the police and the guy are alerted to premeditated murder. Justified, no doubt.

this was my thought

i can't blame the man for wanting to kill the monster who killed his son

I cant see the the article at work.. Does it say that he is just up for parole?? If it does then I would think that all that means is he gets a hearing in front of the board and (hopefully) the parole board just denys him. People can go in front of them 1236578156 times and EVERY time be denied...

This is why I like the Federal system... no parole!

I agree with all of this except that I wonder if they avoided the trial because of the chance of this animal NOT being convicted at all...

I'm going to lean towards thinking the guy announced his plans to kill him to have the parole board do the right thing and keep this animal in cage 'for his own safety.'

I know for me, I'm afraid of jail. The mere thought of ever having to go NEAR a jail scares me. But if an animal did something like this to one of my kids I'd walk into the court house dragging his bleeding carcass behind me and plead guilty with a smile.

I bet that father lives every day in his own hell. I bet if he killed that man...going to jail would not phase him and actually make him happier...

In other words, being in jail knowing you killed the monster who did that to your son is better than living in your home knowing your son's killer is out there to do it again maybe b/c you plea bargained...know what I mean?
