Fave BBQ sauce? And Spice Rub recipe?
So for the BBQ baby shower I'm hosting in August, I wanted to do "Sweet Baby Riley" BBQ sauce as a favor. As an added extra, I want to make my own spice rub and attach it to the bottle. I was going to use Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce as it's my fave, but I'd like something that is packaged a little bit more nicely rather than a cheap-o plastic bottle, KWIM? I also want it to taste good! lol! And locally made would be an added bonus, but not necessary.
Also, does anyone have any favorite spice rubs they make? Something unique? Maybe something chipotle?
I did a google search and came up with about a million different recipes. I just want to make sure I use a good one! TIA!

If you buy the BBQ sauce in bulk, you can then put it in mason jars. Take your spice rub package and secure it to the mason jar, maybe with a little roping, keeping with the BBQ theme. Then add a cute favor tag label to the jar.

I think Dinosaur BBQ comes in a glass jar.

Mmmm I didn't think of that! I do have a bunch of mini mason jars from Home Depot, there's just so many different things I wanna do with them.  And I wanted to avoid jarring them myself because then I feel like I should be making my own BBQ sauce. Can you do that? Is it hard? Anybody have any good home made recipes?

1 bottle of ketchup
1 box of brown sugar
¼ cup vinegar
1 tblspn worcestershire sauce
Increase the amounts of everything if you need a lot.
Mix everything together in a pot and bring to a boil.
