Favorite all-inclusive for kids? age 5
My sisters and I are planning to take our older kids (3 kids, all age 5 or 6) away next year when this is all over. What's your favorite family-friendly all-inclusive that:
- Isn't a long flight - Isn't far from the airport to the resort? (we don't wanna go to like negril or something like that because it's over an hour from the airport)

Hilton Rose Hall- Montego Bay We went last February and had the most amazing time. We usually go to Disney, and the family unanimously voted that we all liked this resort better!! It is like 15 minutes from the airport. We had direct flights which were about four hours. The food was delicious, and a large variety. I felt extremely safe. There was were water slides, a lazy river and activities for the kids. We cannot wait to go back. Book through Costco for a great deal.

is this all inclusive? I actually get friends and family rates because a family member is a manager for hilton. I get rooms for 50% off. I should look and see!

Yes! All inclusive! The food is delicious with a ton of options. I don’t know how many options there are now with Covid limitations. But every restaurant we ate at was delicious.

Dreams Playa Mujeres in Mexico. My kids LOVED it!! It's such an incredible resort. So clean, great kid section, water slides, all inclusive, gorgeous beach and great activities. We took the kids a couple year ago and would go back in a heartbeat... once this is over.
Dreams is an American owned resort. Really nice and great location. Not far from Cancun airport.

We go to the Grand Moon Palace in Cancun every Feb. break (except this year). They have a great waterpark for kids of all ages, as well as a playroom for younger kids, and game room. The food is amazing, and have great excursions. It is a 15-20min. drive from airport.

Re: Favorite all-inclusive for kids? age 5
This post has me searching all-inclusive resorts. Having a hard time getting my work done. The Dreams and the Grand Moon Palace ones both look great. I so need a vacation. I haven't had a beach vacation in 12 years. The idea of the kids club has me so excited. I can't pick which Dreams resort I want to go to. Has anyone been to the Dreams Puerto Aventuras one? It has dolphins, manatees, turtle release all on site.

Haven't been to that one, but have been to a couple of Secrets (which is same owner of Dreams, but they are adults only). They are always amazing and top notch. Read some reviews and join the fans FB pages and most people have been to a bunch of the Dreams can give you a good comparison. We do LOVE the Dreams and Secrets resorts. My kids still talk about Dreams Playa Mujeres.

I joined 3 Facebook pages last night. hahaha. I did find out that the Puerto Aventuras one closing today for renovations and was bought by a third party so not sure if they will still be a Dreams resort. Will have to wait and see. Love being able to just look at all these resorts for a little escape from reality right now. Thanks!!!

Re: Favorite all-inclusive for kids? age 5
I came across a new resort in Punta Cana. Hilton La Romana. I checked rates for our Easter break week and it was less than $324 a night total for 3 of us. It looks really nice and has a waterpark. https://hiltonbyplaya.com/la-romana/specials?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIlo7g7NnT7gIV445bCh0gqg9iEAAYASAAEgK1dfD_BwE

Re: Favorite all-inclusive for kids? age 5
We haven’t gone yet, but Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana was recommended to us by a travel agent. I sent her a list of things I wanted, like calm beach waters, soft sand, water park, good food, bath tub in room etc and she recommended this place. We are holding our breaths and keeping our fingers crossed that our July trip can happen. Anyway, look it up. It’s new and modern and has great reviews
