Fertilization report and Transfer update!
Just got the call. Discouraged but grateful for one!! So out of the 13 eggs we froze 7 as eggs and made 6 embroys. Out of the 6 embroys, only one took and it was an ICIS. We did half ICIS half not. I am grateful that we got one. Transfer Tuesday morning on day 3. Thanks for your prayers!
***update transfer 3/8/16
The transfer went really well!! I had the one embroyo implanted into my uterus and it was a grade 2 which the doctor said is good. It was very emotional watching the whole process on ultrasound. I actually could see the embroyo being placed inside my uterus! Amazing!! Now lots of prayers that it sticks :)
They did say that I only had 4 eggs left not 7 frozen because 3 weren't mature! But I don't care about the frozen eggs right now! I'm just soo overjoyed with this little embroyo inside right now :)

ok..well thats good. b/c if most of those thaw you have a chance of other frozen transfers.

Just curious if you don't mind me asking, what is the reason for freezing the eggs as eggs instead of fertilizing them now? Wondering if this is a beneficial practice that I am not aware of. TIA!!
