With my dd it broke while I was in labor at the hospital.
With my ds it never broke, the doctor broke it right before I started pushing.

getting up from the living room couch! 
then in the shower
some more in the car
then the final kaboom was at the door of the hospital when i got out of the car!

DH and I were cleaning one of our vacation rental homes. All of sudden i went to the bathroom to pee but was peeing for like 10 minutes.

In the hospital, both times. It had to be manually broken. It never broke on its own.

In my mom's car
it was a lot too - gushes every contraction and my 3-yr sister was in the back saying "mommy wet" b/c she had spilled her sippy cup - I thought I got her!
I was soaking wet when I got to the hospital

in bed!!
i new i was in labor, contractions were every five minutes. midwife asked me to try to get as much rest as posible.
i was laying in bed AWAKE, couldn't sleep. i felt a POP. so i got up carefully, and there was my surprise: wet undies.
sorry, i think that might have been TMI

Mine didn't break on its own, they broke it in the hospital for me after 18 hours of labor, don't worry, I still went another 10 hours though, oy!

at FIL's...went to the washroom...came back out...felt like i was still PMP went back to the washroom...knew it wasnt right...all the way to the hospital (the 5min drive!) felt gushes the whole time...such a gross feeling!!!!
