Final walk through 5/26, closing 5/27 - with questions
Ok.. so what do I do if stuff isnt fixed like it said it would be in my contract?
What if I see damages? Namely she had this HUGE art thingie in her living room that she APOX'ED to the wall. I gotta feeling that's gonna leave a mark!
What am I even looking for?!
What should I bring with me to the closing.. realtor is a sweetie and I'm sure he'll have all the paperwork but should I bring anything else? ID, SS# whatever?
Oh and its Texas ... lawyers aren't allowed in this transaction and generally have no place in the home buying process at all. ha!
Its gonna us, her, our respective realtors and the title company.
SOOOOOOOOO nervous
Hope I have enough money for closing!

when you go through your final walk through.. make sure all the things listed in your contract is done.. whole reason for the final walk through. If not done then they broke their side of contract. Must be done before you sign. Also check to make sure NO NEW big things have occured.. like say you wanted a leak fixed.. and when they did fix leak did they possibly damage something else in the process? try and think back about what your engineer did.. and try the best you can to repeat what he did. You dont want to sign papers, move in and find something that will cost you $$ to fix.
Good luck.. must be so excitting, and nerve racking all at once.

gotcha!
Thanks..
I have a huge concern with some art she had on the wall, I'm pretty positive its going to damage the drywall when its removed.
I'll bring my inspection with me for the walk through.. great idea!
Thanks again
