Finally the right diagnosis for my DS!!!
I've been saying my son has had acid reflux from the very begining. I went to the dr. and told him about his symptoms and he said "bc he wasn't spitting up it couldn't be reflux"
More poor son HATES eating. Screams at the bottle. Every bottle is a struggle. I've posted on here about that many times. I finally went today for a well visit and saw another dr. I told him my son's symptoms and right away she said def reflux. She said about half the babies with reflux don't spit up.
So... I happily went to CVS and pick of the script for Zantac!! I can't wait for it to kick in and my son can actually enjoy eating and it wont be such a struggle.
MOTHER'S INSTINCTS LADIES!!! BELIEVE IT and don't let anyone tell you No!!!!!

yup, my lil one has silent reflux too
just so you know, zantac did not do **** for him, he is now on axid which seems to be helping alot more....

Thanks... they said it will take a few days tokick in. If nothing changes..he has another well visit in two weeks. I'l lhave them change the script then!! Thanks!!

I second that with the Axid... we tried Zantac and it didn't help at all... the Axid has helped with the burning, but he still spits up constantly. Good luck!!

OMG i would be pizzed at that other PED and give a call and ask why my DS had to go through this even longer because he didn't do his job. Glad to know your baby got the script.

That's great! Hope he feels better soon. I used to dread feeding times, once they got better I could actually enjoy them and almost look forward to them.

I dread them now too!!! And now Im hoping he'll eat more!!!
