I'm not an expert, but I'd think foreclosure. At least with bankruptcy it looks like you are doing something about it, KWIM?

I think it depends. Both will pretty much ruin your credit but I think as a county people haven't seemed to care about that lately I would say foreclosure since it would be difficult to find housing due to debts and the costs of renting.

I am going to say bankruptcy is worse.
It is possible that the government may come in and do something about all these forclosures. Maybe either adding aid for them or changing the laws on how they affect your credit.
They both suck though.
