Finger Foods and Baby Food
DS is 9 1/2 months now and so we've started introducing finger foods to him after his last dr appointment. He's had small (pea sized) pieces of chicken, turkey, eggs, pancakes, waffles, strawberries, watermelon, cantaloupe, etc....
I'm finding since we started this, which is only one time a day at dinner time, he is refusing to eat his baby foods. Does this mean that we are done with baby food? Also, I feel like he barely eats enough of the table food to be equivalent to what he would be getting nutritionally from his baby food....Any input is appreciated...I'm at a loss here..
Thanks!

Give DC what you eat. As long as you have balanced meals, vege/fruit DC will be fine.
Does your DC get vitamins?

Under a year, babies get all they need nutritionally from breastmilk or formula. The food is just for practice at that age. So as long as he is still getting enough breastmilk/formula, you have nothing to worry about. FTR, according to my mom, I refused all baby food right around that age too! And I think I turned out ok!

He does get his multi once a day. I also think he's refusing because of the teething...It's brutal!

I hear ya on that! My son has been 5th-10th %ile since 4 months old (he's now 2) so I always got a little extra nervous when he didn't eat well!

My son was on all table foods at 9 months. Once he got a taste of the good stuff he didn't want baby food.
