First Birthday Party Question?
I'm having a DJ (my best friend owns his own company, so it's not a big deal) but should I have some sort of hour entertainment for the kids?
or just do arts and crafts?
maybe a balloon guy? I don't want to spend a fortune?
any ideas, what are you doing?
(we are having it in a hall)

Re: First Birthday Party Question?
I was just going to have a DJ and have them do all the silly kids dances and limbo and stuff like that.. maybe supply the kids with small nerf footballs (that's the theme). It's a huge room so running around with def keep them busy!!
Oh BTW: Im inviting over 50 kids!!

Re: First Birthday Party Question?
if you are having a dj, you could have games with music.
"FREEZE"
muscial chairs.
dance party dance off.
balloons around lil crawling kids make me VERY nervous b/c the bigger kids pop them and GOD FORBID a little gets it in his mouth...I am a nervous wreck (though also insane about these things so take it with a grain of salt)
but I think you can do so much with the music end that you don't need to spend more money...jmo
ETA: also, I kinda feel like I don't want to put all my party eggs in his 1st basket, kwim? I want to space out the cool stuff so it lasts me at least until he is 5
