First Emotional Breakdown
So at almost 10 weeks I had my first emotional breakdown today. I couldnt not stop crying today for 30 minutes or so. I am just feeling overwhelmed by money. Thinking about all the baby expenses plus regular stuff. Then today we had to get out big air conditoner fixed and its costing $400. Well, that was the breaking point. Then DH told me I was "freaking out" and it was no big deal.
I thought I was doing great so far emotionally. So, ladies farther along please tell me it gets better??? I think I already know the answer though.

Re: First Emotional Breakdown
Hate to break it to you, but I personally have been on a roller coaster ride. I can literally go from feeling suicidal to feeling like I won the lotto in a matter of minutes. I was actually concerned I was turning bipolar because I actually know I'm being psychotic. It's very scary. LOL
Hang in there!

Re: First Emotional Breakdown
Breakdowns happen -- it's okay -- don't beat yourself up.
I won't lie and say they get better. As hormones start to surge, so do your emotions. Just accept that it will happen and enjoy a good cry occasionally!

Re: First Emotional Breakdown
Right there with ya. I can't even watch Grey's Anatomy without a full blown crying fest. This coming from someone who can count on her hand how many times she has cried in the last 10 years. My DH said to me the other day, "wow this pregnancy is REALLY turning you into a girl!!
It's the hormones, it will pass

Re: First Emotional Breakdown
breakdowns happen...you need to just laugh at yourself to stop the crying...at around I think 11weeks i started crying while watching my mac and cheese in the mircorwave...no reason full tears in the kitchen at work...

Re: First Emotional Breakdown
during my first trimester, i was watching an episode of teen mom by myself and i just broke down crying for a good 30 mins lol. DH came home from a hockey and found me bawling on the couch. we laugh about it now. since then i really havent felt too emotional and that was really the last time i had a good cry. so for me, it did get better lol.

Re: First Emotional Breakdown
Last weekend I honestly thought DH was going to run. I was a hysterical mess all weekend over stupid things. Those days are going to happen. After the fact I can chalk it up to hormones and DH understands now that I'm going to have these irrational outbursts every once in awhile!

Re: First Emotional Breakdown
You are soooo not alone. I've been a full on trainwreck lately. Not only do I cry about everything, but I feel like I'm being so mean and impatient with everyone....DH, my Mom, my co-workers... everyone has felt my wrath!!!!!
Damn hormones

Re: First Emotional Breakdown
I had one HUGE breakdown in my 1st-2nd trimester... hyperventilated and everything!!!
I haven't had that bad of a breakdown -or anywhere near it since - thank GOD (and my DH thanks God, too).
But... EVERY TIME I SEE THAT DISNEY COMMERCIAL WHERE THEY SURPRISE THE KIDS WITH A TRIP TO DISNEY WORLD, I GET ALL EMOTIONAL AND TEARY EYED!!!

Re: First Emotional Breakdown
I feel like I'm on a rollercoaster of emotions lately. I can be so happy one minute and sobbing the next. I have alot of anxiety due to past chemical and m/c and I freak out alot about it happening again (just want to get to the 2nd trimester, then I think my anxiety will subside). My poor DH he doesn't even know what to do with me anymore!
