First Family Trip

DH and I just came back today from Mystic with DD. It was our first overnight trip with her. It was pretty rough having her sleep in the hotel crib. She was not happy at all, even with her crib toys. Eventually she did fall asleep, but 4:45 this morning, she woke up. I gave her a bottle and when she was falling asleep, I put her back in the crib. She wasn't having it. I ended up having her sleep in the bed with me which she practically took over and didn't wake up until 9am.

We took her to the aquarium today and she was more interested in looking at the people around her than the fish and other animals, with the exception of the penguin. Yesterday when we arrived, we went to the Seaport and she was just cranky. Afterwards, we went to Olde Mistick Village and she went crazy at the duck pond. She couldn't get enough of the ducks.

For dinner, we went to the Daniel Packer Inne from recommendations from fellow LIF'ers. The food was absolutely amazing. I had the stuffed lobster which was to die for. It was absolutely delicious. I also had the grilled mussels which were also delicious, but I couldn't believe the size of those suckers!!!! DH really enjoyed his meal as well. This was definately a restaurant I would recommend and go back too.

We got back late today and DD absolutely went crazy in her jumperoo, I guess she really missed it. This kid was so hyper and crazy, you would've thought I gave her an IV of pure sugar, that's how nuts she was.

Its been a busy 2 weeks since DH has been on vacation. I think DD is going to need a vacation from her daddy's vacation
