First IUI today... with question
Hi everyone, I had my first IUI today. I feel ok just some cramping. The doctor said everything looked great. The only problem was my dh's sperm is low but they did it anyway with only 30,000 washed sperm. Has anyone else used such a low number of washed sperm? His actual count is low just above 1 million. I just want this so bad and although I am happy we did it I can't help but this if it will actually work with such a low count. Has anyone else had an IUI done with a low count?
My dh saw a urologist yesterday and he was wondering why my dr would even do the IUI with such a low number.
The good news is the clomid worked and I have 2 eggs one in each tube so he chances are better on my end.
I just led the office with mixed feelings. They said I can come back tomorrow to do another but with work I just can't go in late again.
Thanks for reading and any advice would be great.

Did your doctor say if there's anything he can do/take to increase his sperm count? Did he talk about what your next step would be if this doesnt work out?
Do you go to Dr. B? He has a lot of success with getting women pregnant on here. I would maybe try to go to him and see what he can do for you and your DH. All it takes is one little guy and an egg

I am going to RSofNY and I usually see Dr. Cain. My DH is going to a urologist that specializes in male infertility so I hope that helps. The Doctor things his hormones levels are off and he can take medicine to help. He is doing all kinds of testing.

Thats good that they are running tests on him so you can find out exactly whats going on and find the best thing to help him.
