First World Problems

I feel like we haven’t had one of these threads in a while, and I’m kind of bored.

My problems:

I can’t get my convertible to go down

Went to the US consulate to renew my passport, and I was super annoyed at the security (it was more than you go through at the airport) I had to go through. They took away all my electronics, made me drink my water to make sure it wasn’t poison, and my photos were not good enough because they were not American sized (it’s impossible to get that done here), so I had to do photos at the consulate. That being said, it was quick. Now the next thing is to do my new permanent residency card after I get my passport, so that it matches my new passport number. So, yeah, bottom line, I’m sick of paperwork!

I need to self tan but I'm too lazy to exfoliate and shave 24 hours before..

LOL

Also, I'm less than a week back from vacation and I'm still missing my daily croissant with breakfast every day.

My router seems to be dying so I don't get WiFi in my bed anymore. Now I'm out of data for the month.

First World Problems

Planning on spending $40 more for printed invitations for my DD's 6th birthday party because I'm too lazy to write them out.

I had the opposite problem. My 6yo insisted on making her invites so I had to sit there cutting up construction paper, drawing lines with a ruler and pencil, and hand writing everything so she could write in one line and draw a few decorations. Then I had to decide which of her friends would get the ones she decorated with 666 on the front. Chat Icon

Re: First World Problems

SO's party budget just increased by $400, because i got the wild hair up my butt to hire someone who does 3D printing... i'm giving them pictures of the dirt buggy he created (completely made on his own) and they are making a model of it for me to use as the cake topper / memento/gift.

now i'm stressing because i have to continue "embezzling" money from our budget just that much longer to cover the added expense.

oh, how i love doing this to myself.

Why did I read this and start wondering what dh and dd can design and 3d print as a cake topper? I dislike you greatly for putting this idea in my head!

I know! It's awful. And I hate being like that because I love the place I go- they do such a great job for a great price and they are so nice. But I hate it! But I hate my natural hair color more. Chat Icon

I find that if I put a little hydro-cortisone cream on pimples, they go down faster.
I combine it with the benzoyl peroxide cream and I find it works great

LOL too funny! I thought it was just me.
There is just something about vacation that calls from something decadent like a daily croissant.
I never eat them at home!

I have to commute home to LI right now to get my car to drive straight back to the city because we're going to a B&B for the weekend. Not sure if that's a problem as much as my own stupid planning...
