Friday First World Problems:
On Z100 this morning they were doing First World Problems. I was hysterical laughing. Did anyone hear that segment? It was GOOD
So, what is your First World Problem today?
My favorite from Z100 this morning was: I had to put an opened bottle of wine in the regular fridge because my wine fridge was full. LOL!!!!

Friday First World Problems:
Yes - I heard it too! Was cracking up!
My 1st world problem of the day is that my office is so FREAKING cold that I couldn't wear any of my cute dresses or sandals to work today because I would freeze. Yesterday, I ordered a heater to put in my office so I can wear summer clothes to work in the summer! Can't wait til it arrives!

OH EMM GEEEE I love you!!!
This is so getting emailed to my boyfriend.
He is the WORST.
Yesterday he's at work and he's like ugh I have to switch from my personal car to the county car in the rain (wahhhh I get a car for free from my job) -- I'm like oh, it's raining?? I didn't realize, I was inside, in bed. He's like yeah pretty heavy. I'm like well, my flowers will be happy!! :)
He's like oh yeah maybe that means I won't have to water the lawn tomorrow - thank GOD.
And I'm thinking, I've been to his house a million times, does he have in-ground sprinklers?? I'm like, babe, you don't have in-ground sprinklers?? Because the house I had before my condo didn't and yeah, it was kind of a PITA to take out the sprinkler attached to the hose and then have to move it to a different part of the lawn every forty minutes - it was annoying, for sure...
SO HE GOES ---
Oh, yeah, of course I have in-ground sprinklers, I just don't want to have to turn them on and run them.
OH MY WORD. I'm like REALLY?????
Oh, FAINT, it is so much work to go to the control box in the garage and flip the switch for the sprinklers and run them and then have to remember to go back and switch it OFF -- ohhh the horror!

Doesn't his inground sprinklers have a timer? Ours is programmed so that they turn on automatically at a certain time every day (and when it rains, the rains sensors will not allow it to turn on in the rain).
Mention it to him- it might change his life!

Of course they do.
Wanna know why he doesn't use it??
BECAUSE HE IS CHEAP.
He won't run the dang sprinklers everyday if he does not HAVE to run them....
Yet subsequently complain when he has to run them.
ETA -- I'm not sure if you have experienced how men in HIS PROFESSION can be UBER UBER UBER cheap. It's unreal. It really is LOL.

he comes home the other night -- he should be a reality show -- and it was like 1am because he worked until midnight. fine. he comes in, i'm half asleep. gives me a kiss -- I KIND OF OPEN ONE EYE -- I look -- something strikes me as a W T F moment... I look up, open both eyes, and I'm like WHAT is that jacket??
He's like, this???
Oh this?? Oh, uhh, I just bought this.
I'm like, PETER, where did you get that thing??
It was all ill-fitting. It looked awful and SO cheap. The material looked like it was outfitted by Reynold's Wrap.
He goes, umm, Sam's Club.
I'm like
Mind you, I just got him a nice, quality, made of real material NOT FLAMMABLE from the outlet windbreaker -- I'm like HOW much was that thing??
He goes, it's COMFORTABLE... I'm like OUT WITH IT!!! He goes, $27
I'm like, take it back and ask for $25 back because you got taken.
It's amazing. But I love him so much and I can't even explain WHY

Re: Friday First World Problems:
I'm on a staycation with DS this week and today was the first day I was stumped coming up with something for us to do.
So I'm staying in and I just cleaned my closets and drawers.
I have a doctor appt in a few hours so we are kind of stuck anyway to do anything much.

We have an app that controls our sprinklers. I'm at work and can turn on any or all zones right from my phone and schedule how long I want them on for. It's called rachio. He should look into it!

You want to laugh?
Guess who has a cell phone from the Byzantine Empire?? I'm surprised the Smithsonian Institute doesn't come and take it for their exhibit on the very first phones.
I'm like, when are you going to upgrade?? When are you going to get an I-Phone??
And the best is when we went on a road trip to Boston he was DYING for coffee. So, he's looking at all the signs trying to see if there's a Starbucks off the highway. Finally, I casually pull out my I-Phone and open my Starbucks App and it immediately tells me where the closest Starbucks is. His face lit up. I'm like, oh! Do you want me to USE this app on my phone to help you find a Starbucks????

He is very hmmmmm OLD SCHOOL - he still pays everything in cash. He never, ever uses a debit or credit card.
We had a black tie fundraiser to go to -- hence the avatar pic -- and I was like you need a new suit. So he's like OK I'll just go to Kohl's. I'm like NO. NO NO NO NOOOO. You will go to the OUTLET in Riverhead, because why pay retail, and get a nice suit. Thank God for the Brooks Brothers outlet.
Otherwise it would have been off-black polyester suit from Kohl's, ill-fitting, with a windbreaker from Sam's Club

If you didn't have his pic in the avatar I would think my dh was two timing me lol. He also only uses cash!!! Shops senior citizen discount day at the super market (he's under 40!) and cashes in our bottles (I hope he doesn't start picking other peoples garbage hahha) And you would think he was being eaten alive when he has to wear a suit!

PIMP!!!! CANS!!! That is SO funny!!!
My boyfriend is 45 and he is going on SEVENTY.
Literally, the other night we go out to a bar and the bartender was like, hi guys, what can I get you? So, he goes: The lady will have a cosmopolitan and I'll have...
THE LADY WILL HAVE?!
Then, he IRONS his suits and uniforms (police) for work -- and since he's former military he wears those SHIRT STAYS -- so there he is, shirt stays and boxer briefs with a crisp white undershirt ironing his uniform and suiting up. I'm like HOLY MOLY this is SOME look!!
And there is NO shame in his game - he's like, this is where it is AT. I'm like sure it is, honey
