Fisher-Price Booster Seat

Does anyone know if the orange one replaced the blue/green one? I can't find the blue/green one that so many of you recommended the other day-- I looked in 2 BRU & Target, they didn't have the blue/green one but had the orange one. The blue/green one is available online at BRU though.

ETA: The orange one is $20 and the green/blue one is $25...you'd think a newer one would be more $, that's why I was confused Chat Icon

Update: I found a blue/green one in Wal-Mart today so I got it. Thanks for the help ladies!

Re: Fisher-Price Booster Seat

I just saw some at BRU about 2 weeks ago in Commack.

They now have a rainforest one I saw online that has toys on the top I thought was cute.

I have the blue green one and LOVE it

Yes, I remember you were one of the ones who loved the blue/green one, so I went to get that one but they didn't have even a spot for it.

I considered the rainforest one, but the toy looked like it could be challenging to clean if DD gets her food all over it, you know?

I did not go to the Commack one, I'll check it out, thanks!

Oh, Ok, thank you. Darn it, I'm much more a blue/green person than a yellow/orange person Chat Icon

For some reason, I like the blue and green colors a lot better than the new colors.

Love the seat, Taylor uses it all the time when she is with my parents

Re: Fisher-Price Booster Seat

Question on this - does it strap into the chair or does it just sit on top of it?

yes, it straps on the back and the bottom of the chair and it is very secure.

I called the Commack store b/c I could get there on my lunch, but they don't have any more. The guy said they had a bunch a few weeks ago but none left now. I'm going to try the Islandia Wal-Mart at lunch though, thank you! If not, guess I'll get the orange one Chat Icon

Re: Fisher-Price Booster Seat

We have the blue and green one for my DD.
I was at BRU yesterday and saw they had a orange one instead. They also have a rainforest one which i thought was adorable. If I didn't have one already I would definitely get it. It had a toy on top which looked fun and entertaining for little ones especially at someones house or restaurant.

I am so glad that you posted this! I wanted to get the blue and green one after Lucas tried out Christopher's (KateDevine) and loved it! I just ordered at Walmart and will pick it up in the store...so much cheaper than TRU! Chat Icon

Um, now I'm annoyed. My receipt's in the car so I have to double-check, but I'm pretty sure I was charged $26 or so for it at Wal-Mart just a few hours ago! Chat Icon If that's the case, I'll return it and do the site-to-store too, to save a few bucks!! Thanks for the heads up!

I ordered online...$22 (and change) and selected in store pickup for free shipping. With tax it came to $24(and change but less than the $24.99 BRU was charging)

Thanks, I put one in my cart to see the price. Annoying!!! I'll definitely return mine to save a few bucks, since I work right by Wal-Mart. Thanks for the heads up!

Re: Fisher-Price Booster Seat

Question for you guys: does this seat take the place of using a high chair at home? Sorry if this sounds dumb....I am using a high chair for Kayla but she also has that booster seat....she just hasn't used it yet.

Yes, it can, if you didn't want to use a full-size seat at home. But people also use it to take to restaurants, relatives houses, when they go OOT, etc.

It certainly can, but I don't think it's really made for the wear and tear of daily use. Also, it's not padded and doesn't seem nearly as comfortable as a regular high chair. I do believe it's intent is more for short-term use.

FYI I saw it in the Medford Target last Saturday, the blue and green one.

The new colors are quite '70s aren't they?Chat Icon

Re: Fisher-Price Booster Seat

I kind of like the orange one! I have 2 blue and green ones-- one for my son that we have had for 2 years and one for my daughter that we just got. We got it from Wall Mart via internet.

And can you believe it, Amazon wanted something like $56 for it!!!Chat Icon
