I get one every year at work, but they don't offer the preservative free one, so I skipped it this time.
Same here... I tried to make an appointment to have it done at my doctor but had to reschedule the appointment 4x before I gave up. I'll be 30w on Sunday so I am just going to skip it at this point.

Re: Flu Shot
they said it over and over again about how dangerous it is to have the flu while pregnant.
also having the flu is miserable feeling and i dont want that on top of feeling miserable pregnant feeling.
I got it as soon as I got the okay from the dr. during my 5th week.

Just FYI girls, you can get the thimerisol free flu shot at many drug stores, I got mine at walgreens last year. If you had wanted to get it G, I wouldn't skip at 30w. I got mine at 34w. We're starting to get in the thick of flu season so you def. still have time

Flu Shot
I just got mine 2 days ago at CVS...I was on the fence but thinking about it I wanted to protect myself from the flu and it does give your baby some protection for 6 months after they are born...I have never gotten one but I want to be safe

Re: Flu Shot
I got it at my 20w appt at my OB. It's totally safe for the baby - and actually much safer for both you and the baby than getting the actual flu.
Not that you asked, but I also got the whooping cough vaccine at my 28w appt. It's now being recommended for all pregnant women to get it in their last 3 months of pregnancy, and anyone who will be around the baby often should get it as well (spouse, grandparents, etc).
