Flu Shot question again
Has anyone ever gotten the flu shot at Target or CVS or someplace like this? I really don't want to go to my PCP and wait there for hours with all the sick people around. What were your experiences? Also, how much does it cost? Thanks!

Yup, I've gotten it there before. Same shot. Usually a local visiting nurses group does it... I can't remember the price. Each place is different'

Re: Flu Shot question again
I've gotten a flu shot at CVS other years and it was fine. This year, I got one at my last OB appointment. I'm glad I went there b/c my OB had a thermisol-free flu shot. I don't know if that concerns you at all, but it did make me feel a little better knowing I was getting a preservative-free shot.

My Ob's office doesnt give it....I was surprised by that....I think I may just get it after I deliver, if it won't offer any immunity to the baby.

My understanding is that it does offer some immunity to the baby if you get the shot in your last trimester.
