At what stage in your pregnancy do they tell you not to fly?

Re: flying

I had thought it was just during the last tri-mester, but a friend recently told me you're not supposed to fly your first tri-mester either.

Re: flying

I flew in the first trimester and the 3rd. My last trip was at 29 weeks.
Some docs will let you fly up to 36 weeks but trust me the last place I wanted to be then was trapped on a plane.

Re: flying

I guess everyone's doctor is different.
I asked mine and she said I was allowed to fly after the 12th week up until one month before I was due.

Re: flying

I flew on my first trimestre (11 weeks). I understood that you can't fly after the 32 week, but I'm not sure.

Re: flying

I flew during most of my pregnancy. We were living in Ireland while I was pg. I found out I was pg in Germany. Flew to Switzerland, Prague, Hungary, Italy, NY, New Orleans, Spain, Portugal, Austria. My last trip was to NY when I was 30 weeks and I flew back to Ireland when I was 33 weeks. My Dr. said it was fine as long as I wasn't high risk. However, I have to say an overnight flight back to Ireland at 33 weeks was no fun. I was so uncomfortable I didn't get any rest and I had a row of 4 to myself.

Also airlines have restrictions. At one point they require a doctor's note.
