Food and Mood connection?

Do you think there is a connection between what you eat and how you feel mood wise?

ETA: What foods make you feel a certain way?

Re: Food and Mood connection?

Definitely.

I also think diet plays a huge role in other issues.

Not to start a debate, but I strongly feel the American diet is related to the increase in issues with the past few generations of children.

If you think about it, a lot of food we eat is processed or we don't necessarily know where it came from/chemicals that were sprayed on it.

Food and Mood connection?

Yes! Over the past few years I have made drastic changes in my diet (for the better). I feel happier and more energized.

Yes! I feel tired and lethargic when I eat wheat. Also, I'm more emotional when I eat sugar.

Re: Food and Mood connection?

Oh yes.

When I eat fatty heavy meals I feel tired and have low energy. When I eat healthier choices, lighter meals, I feel more alive and want to do more things. It's really interesting if you think about it. How you really are what you eat
