Food to send to grieving neighbor
My old neighbor just lost his adult son who he lived with. He is now on his own & I'd like to send some food to his house to show my sympathies. An suggestions of places to call to send dinner? Maybe something that would last a few days? He's in the Deer Park area if that helps.

I've also made lasagna for neighbors before.
I use the no-boil noodles and often jar sauce.
Easy peasy!!

Re: Food to send to grieving neighbor
when my father died my job sent me a whole bagel breakfast from Fairway in Bayside. It made a huge difference to us and was so appreciated.

Bambino's Ravioli. They can make him individual dishes. The food is amazing.

Re: Food to send to grieving neighbor
When my husband passed away, the best food I got was home made meals from my neighbors.. I got mac and cheese, ziti, and lasagna..... It helped to know they were thinking about me.
