?? for all you ladies - pls. be honest!
This is the stroller and car seat I registered for - now that I am looking at it, I think it's a little too girly (and I have a boy.)
Pls. be honest - I have no problem exchanging it but have to do it by this weekend.
Thanks! Image Attachment(s):

Personally, I think toille can go either way, and since it is black I think it is fine for a boy.

I think the black is fine, it's the toile you're worried about?
You can ALWAYS justify it by saying you hope to have a girl someday

I always associated toile fabric as being feminine.
While I like it, I would not get it for a boy. IMHO.

Funny, I was in BRU last weekend and I picked this pattern for my pack and play but I thought that it was a little too much frill for my boy for the stroller. I decided against it but I did have to think about it for a while!

Me too. My friend got that same travel system for her son and I actually think it looks girlier in person then in pictures.
But if you like it go for it, I have the delancy print and it is black and like this sort of purple color and I have a boy.

I have a few pieces from that line (Pack and Play and Travel Crib) and I am having a girl, but I registered for the pieces b/c I think they can be used if we have a boy down the road...I think it's unisex.

Re: ?? for all you ladies - pls. be honest!
I registered for this stroller/pattern as well. We're having a girl, but I wanted a stroller I'd be able to use for a boy if we have a boy down the road. I didn't like BRU's other options for the Metrolite for myself (pink, obviously not unisex; or the black/gold, which is just not my style, it's too gold for my taste), so I registered for the toile one by default.
I don't have it yet, but I don't think it's too girly. It's black, and your little guy will be wearing boy clothes, you know?

I'm sorry and the reason this came up was because my friend who has the same carseat and stroller just sent me pictures of her son in it....and it looked too girly to me.

I LOVE that, its the one I want, i feel like the stroller is more of an accessory for mommy, kinda like a diaper bag...as long as its not pink its fine, good choice!!

Honestly? You have to push and lug the damn thing around, you might as well like what you are looking at

I think it can go either way but if you're second guessing it exchange it for something you like better.

Re: ?? for all you ladies - pls. be honest!
well, i just went to BRU and I didn't really like any other patterns for the metrolite. i like how much lighter it is then the other strollers - now I'm just miserable.
ETA: I think I like one that is at BBB - the Metropolitian pattern, I'm calling to see if it's in stock now.

I think the colors are neutral gender but to me toile is a little femine. Sorry, but you did want honest. I think they some great new colors like French toast (brown and mint green), Milan which is brown with teal circles, Ducasi which is brown and other colors.
