for children that had side effects from flu shot..
how long after the shot did they come out?
what were they?
DD has had the flu shot every year (3 other years) and never ever had a problem. Now she had the shot Thursday afternoon and all last night was up with a stuffy nose and saying she didnt feel good. Her temp is 99.0...I know they say its not a fever at that temp, but for DD it usually means somethings brewing.

The flu shot takes 2 weeks to start "taking effect", so if your DD was exposed to the flu before the shot, or even right after, she might have the flu.

My son had a reaction last year the night he got the shot - it was very similar to what you are describing. It lasted four days. He was pale and just seemed to have a bad cold.

I just spoke with my ped about this. He said that if they are going to have a reaction to the shot , then it should be right away. Meaning the next day or 2. So maybe she just has a cold? The timing is close though.
Every kid I know has a fever and cold right now, including my DD. Her fever lasted a day, but she has had the cold for a couple of days now.
