Flu Shot...side effects
For those moms that got the flu shot...
My DS got the flu shot Monday. He's fine during the day. His usual cranky self when he gets tired/hungry but other then that he's happy and active. My problem is the past 2 nights of sleep have been horrible. Last night DS slept for 3hrs and woke up screaming. I let him CIO for just about 1.5hrs (on/off crying). I finally took him into bed with me and DH because he wouldn't stop crying. The night before last he cried for about 30mins straight and I also took him into our bed.
Could this be due to the shot? Is there anything I can do? This is kind of out of character for him. He does wake up during the night but just a quick cry (10seconds) and goes right back to sleep. I'm lost with what to do and I'm wondering if he's uncomfortable.

BTW...he's 9months

My DD got the flu shot yesterday and was up crying 2X last night!! She is generally a good sleeper, so this was unusual. I am chalking it up to the shot, and hope it doesn't happen again tonight!!
btw- she is 20 months.

thank you. i'm going to just assume that it's the shot.
do you give her tylenol/motrin before bed? i haven't but i wasn't sure if i should.

He could be a little sore, I highly doubt its from the shot.
My DC had no issues whatsoever, they got it a few weeks ago.
They have been horrid sleeping the past couple of nights too. Maybe there is something in the air.

I assume it's the shot, b/c the shot gives them a touch of the flu (to build up the antibodies).
I gave her some Motrin before bed...I think I will do that tonight too.

DS got it last saturday and he had a slight fever that afternoon. But other than that he has been fine. DS is also 9 months old.
