My mother- she is just wonderful and an absolute saint for doing this for our DD. It is such hard work, but they adore eachother.

We have a licensed provider who watches him in her house. We found her on the OCFS website and she is FABULOUS! Unlike all of our friends, we don't have family available to watch DS, so it was hard to find someone that we trust. We used a previous provider who didn't end up working out but now that we switched we are very happy

DS has been with my mother since I went back after 8 weeks. She is an LPN and still works FT at works night. they would nap together so it was great. But at around 9 months old DS stopped napping.
We are putting DS in January, he will be 13 months old. It was always out intention to put him daycare after he turn 1 yr because we feel that he needs to be around other kids and have that social interaction. Plus we also knew that once he started walking it would be too much for my mom.

DD was with family until she was 11 months. From 11 months to 21 months she was with another LIFer, and now she is in daycare.

My parents watch my DS. I had to go back to work after only 8 weeks 
My mom stopped working to take care of him and my dad happened to retire in July.

He's in a daycare center. I interviewed home sitters and daycare centers but decided on a center. We do not have family nearby and I like the fact that the centers have rules and regulations to abide by...it works for us.

My DS (9 months) is with a non-licensed mom who is the parent of one of my students. She watches DS and one other baby and is AMAZING!
My DD is 2 1/2 and goes to preschool. It is also a daycare but only takes kids 2 and over. She LOVES it.
