? for teachers that wake their child up in the am during the school year
When I go back to work I will be waking Sadie up around 6. She normally sleeps until 7/730.
Do you think it would be a good idea to start getting up at that time so I can adjust her schedule before she starts going to MIL and my moms?

I'm not a teacher but I will have to do the samething when I go back to work in a few weeks/ She also wakes up around 7ish too. I will be starting that new schedule next week.

Yes, I would start trying to get her on that schedule beforehand

Not a teacher but I would. I'd rather the transition be during the summer than during the school year.
My kids will have strict bed times starting 4 days to the first day of school. I usually do it the week before.

I agree that I would try to start now....and maybe tryby opening her bedroom door so that she hears the noise, that way, she thinks she woke up on her own....I do this on days that DD isn't awake when I want her to be and she always wakes up on her own...just a suggestion....

I think its a good idea---since you have a few days you can gradually move it earlier so she adjusts easier!
