For the Born Free folks

So in my journey of registering yesterday i discovered that there was not a born free bottle in the store except the glass bottles. I spoke to the woman who said as fast as they come in are as fast as they leave and that is for all BRU. She said she has not seen the starter kit in quite some time. Also a lot of the other bottles can only be ordered on line. I got nervous and that appears to be a lot of work for bottles. I think we have moved to Playtex drop ins instead. Now that they have the new easy fit drop ins they appear much easier, plus cleaning is easier too. So just be aware of the difficulty in getting the born free bottles.

Thanks D! I registered for Born Free. But, every time I went into the store they had the starter kit. Could've just been by chance. I am sure they can be ordered online too. But, I know that can be annoying for people wanting to get you a gift. Thanks for posting!

That really stinks!! I will have to keep an eye out for them when I am out and about elsewhere. Maybe I will just pick them up myself so I when I do see them around. When I registered way back there was a ton of those gift sets on the shelf. I am annoyed too!! Chat Icon

Well the scare of BPA is growing faster and faster and i think there is just not enough bottle brands to keep up. Also for the starter kit we went to Massapequa and Westbury and there was no starter kit in either store and currently you can NOT order this product online. (Krista i actually tried to get it for you...sorry Chat Icon )

It is annoying. I did not get any bottles at my shower for this reason. My friend happened to find a few sets in the Westbury store, so she got some for me. The rest I ended up buying myself on target.com, they have free shipping if you spend $50. I had received some cash and checks at the shower, so I just put those towards them. BRU is ridiculous w/ their shipping costs that I refused to pay them for it!! Chat Icon

Re: For the Born Free folks

All the BPA free bottles are selling out everywhere...last time I was at BRU, both the born free and dr.brown's bpa free were gone. the lady said they can't keep them on the shelves.

Re: For the Born Free folks

I just bought them the past weekend at the BRU at Commack.
The 3 pack 5oz.
However, they are missing the vent part on each of the boxes.
There is a coupon for free vents when they become available at BRU.
But it annoys me that I have to make another trip and still have to have my other bottles cleaned in order to reuse the vent part.
