Re: For the pple who have been on cruises?
We just got back from our first cruise (Carnival) on Sunday and I didn't really feel the boat too much in bed - though there were times where I felt the boat moving a lot, but not when I was sleeping. The room we had, it was actually two twin beds put together, but it did not feel narrow to me at all. The rooms weren't big, but I didn't think it was too bad.

I have never had a problem sleeping on a cruise ship, but it definately depends on the ship, what floor your room is on, and where on the boat (front, middle, or back). As for the beds, most are twin size, but they will put them together to make a king for you. That is what we have always done and they put on new king-size linens, so noone falls in the crack - LOL.

My first room was in the front of the boat and I felt everything. Other rooms were in the middle of the boat and I was out like a light.

The seas def. depend on where you are sailing to and from. I have been on a few cruises and never have a problem. I actually get a better sleep than normal because of the rocking!!

Mich - you're soooo tired from the days events, you could probably sleep on a raft IN the ocean. Trust me!

I agree!
Michi, you know I'm a HORRIBLE sleeper . but on our cruise, I slept the best I've EVER slept ... the slight (and I do mean very slight ) rocking was sooo comforting and lulled me to sleep! The room WAS small, I'll admit that, but cozy and comfortable. As someone else said, they push the beds together and make it one big king bed.
Plus outside of sleeping and other activities you hardly spend ANY time in your room except to get changed ... too much stuff to do on the cruise!

Re: For the pple who have been on cruises?
Sleeping on the ship was never a problem. It was all of the movement I felt when I was awake that I couldn't handle. If you've never been on a cruise before, bring dramamine just in case. You shouldn't have any issues sleeping though.

Re: For the pple who have been on cruises?
We went on a cruise for our honeymoon and we didn't feel a thing. We were on the sixth floor w/ balcony and in the middle of the ship.
