For those moms that Exclusively Pump

Is there a reason why you pump only?

I am starting to feel like DS gets more from his bottle than from my breast. If i gave him a bottle at every feeding I can rest assured that he is getting enough when he is eating.

I actually go back and forth with EBF and pumping. But I feel the same way. I know exactly what he gets when I give him the bottle. I have to feed him more often when I EBF. He falls asleep VERY easily when he BF.

I dont exclusively pump but when I do and give him a bottle I feel good knowing how much he got, but i never notice a difference as far as how much he can take from a bottle compared to me breast feeding. But he does seems to suck down a bottle pretty quick, like, less than 10 minutes and be satisifed yet while latched on to me he can be there for up to 20 minutes...but it seems to me hes stopping when hes satisfied. I think he gets the same amount. He sleeps the same amount regardless of whether it comes from a bottle or me.
