For those of you who work full time and commute to the city
What do you do with before or after care?
Do you have family/friends nearby who would help you out in case of emergency?
How do you work out your everyday morning routine and get to work in time?

I have family nearby (huge help in a pinch!) but for a daily basis I signed up for before & after care at my school.
I had to adjust my hours to go in a little later. DH picks up as he works in Manhattan but a different schedule.
He's off for 14 weeks a year - while it's not financially convenient, it helps tremendously.
