For those who are having there first child and plan to have more.....

Are you going to register for neutral color things?? Meaning I am having a girl and the stroller(travel system) that I want is pink and brown but someone told me that I should register for a neutral color one if I plan on having any more children...

What are you girls doing??

well we aren't finding out what we are having anyway, so it will all be gender neutral.

By the time I have a second child, I might need a double stroller, I don' t know...

We plan on buying gender-specific bedding, but the stroller, carseat, etc. will be gender neutral.

We don't know the sex so most of our bigger stuff, stroller, carriage, pack-n-play and stuff are neutral......

The bedding is the only real gender-specific stuff we have so far!

One of the reasons I didn't feel the need to find out was because of this. We plan on having 2 kids so I wanted to register for all gender neutral items.

Our bedding is also pretty gender neutral more because there would be NO way I could wait until the child was here to do the room.

For all the big things (stroller, car seats, high chairs, swings, etc) we did neutral. For blankets, bedding, etc. we did boy stuff

likely same..

Pink I think is very gender specific. But I have seen boys in red carriages and such. So.. I think red is a color that can be both girl/boy on a stroller, if you want it to work for a girl now.. and than later if you have a boy it will work too.

I registered for all girly stuff. Who is to say the next child isn't going to be a girl too??? My DH and mom argued with me about it but I ignored them!

I think most of the stuff will be gender neutral with the exception of bedding and clothes.

We registered for neutral big things like stroller, highchair, swing etc... We want to be able to reuse everything for our second.

I am an exception. I will register for all basically neutral stuff, even though we plan to find out the sex. But I hate pink and baby blue. So everything I choose is either red or green or black.

Re: For those who are having there first child and plan to have more.....

I registered for everything neutral expect the bedding and the bouncer. The bouncer because I didn't like any other bouncers. And the bedding, because I want her to have a girlie room. Chat Icon

The car seats, stroller, pack and play, swing, and high chair are all neutral.
