For those who have an ING Direct Acct.
How do you like it? Is is safe and secure over the internet? Is it easy to use? If you have one can you please share your views about it. DH and I are researching ING Direct and want to hear from people who actually have one. Thanks

dh & I have it and like it. we have money come out every week to go into it as our savings. when u need to transfer money back over it takes about 3 days to get into your checking.
make sure u read the part about mailing them a check - until u do that u cant transfer the money back into your checkbook. it takes about a week.
i think its great and easy.

We have one for DD. We LOVE it! It's so easy to set up and seems very secure.
She's earned about 4-5 bucks in interest every month with only about 1k in there, comparitively to her savings account she's earned.05-.07 cents per month!
I opened a traditional savings account with her name me as guardian, we do online banking. So when she gets checks i deposit them into her savings account then electronically transfer it into her ING.

I have one and love it - ive been having money come out of my check automatically into the account and its great - it forces me to save a little extra and its there when i need it - it is easy to transfer the money around from account to account as well..hth

It is great, we have one for ourselves and one for DD. I have money taken out of our traditional savings account after every paycheck so we save automatically.
I'm going to reduce what I'm putting in DD account now since we have automatic deposit now into her 529 account.
The ING account was very easy to set up and is easy to use. Great rates too.
