DOes your older child really stay there? I am looking for an option as DS1 is rarely in the City Mini Double unless he is sleeping. He prefers to walk. I would love to have him be able to stand on one, or even sit and have a snack or something, without actually being restrained.

So, do they serve their purpose, or are they a waste?
