Ford Edge or Escape

I have the Escape, it's ok. While I haven't had any problems with it I am not overly joyed with it either. The pick up stink IMO. It's roomy enough with one child but I don't want it when I have another

Hybrid Escape 
Don't own one. I drive a Mazda Tribute which is the exact same platform and I love it.

I have the Escape (03 now)
and my mom has the Edge.
I haven't had any problems with my escape. Normal maintenance and that is it. It's been a good car for us, just the right size. I don't want an SUV that is overly big.
My mom has the Edge though and I'm envious of it. It's not much bigger overall, but feels much bigger inside. The trunk, foot room in the back seats, compartments, it's just a really nice car.
