Found DENTS in our car when it got out of the valet of Chateau Briand last night.
do we have any recourse?
We keep our car in a garage and it wasn't there when we picked it up last night.
left it with the valet before going into a wedding at the CB.
Dh noticed it when he dropped it off again at the garage last night.
there was also a prom going on, and a TON of cars, the valets were crazy busy.
BUT damn, we don't AVOID parking our car on the street just so some jackoff and eff it up!
dh is super upset that they did this (and rightfully so)
It makes me think of Ferris Buellers Day Off. Mind you, we don't have a Ferrari, but our car is pretty friggin nice.
I am just really ****** off. they didn't even SAY ANYTHING.
Perhaps one of the other cars or limo drivers did it (like I said, prom) but still, it was on their property.

I think you can make a complaint. I remember taking a legal class in school and the teacher said that the parking garages/valet posts signs stating that nothing is their fault if anything happens- but the teacher also said that's BS and you have every right to if something happens to your car. GL!!!

i would have already called them to tell them off lol
i dunno if thers much they can do..but u can report to ur insurance, and it will be a no fault if u want to get it fixed
btw..can we see those pics of u in the dress from wedding??

I would be pizzed off too! I would definitely call and complain. However, like you said, there were so many things going on who knows if some kids decided to climb on the car and take pics with it.

it looks more like something backed into it.
dh sent this to me..the circle is where the grill "kidney" cracked.
this is going to cost us MONEY!

i would call and complain. but i think most halls and restaurants that have valet have signs that say "not responsible for damage to vehicles or lost/stolen property". did you see anything like that?

Call Chateau Briand & get the name of the office for the valet (they're a separate company).
Take photos of everything, write down every name of the people you speak to.
They'll send you a claim form to fill out.
Why do I know this? We had the same thing happen there. Ours was minor damage so we didn't pursue it but definitely call.

Oh hell no! If someone cracked the grill, that is just unacceptable. I would definitely call CB and find out who they use to valet and take it from there.
