Exactly.
Frenchie's situation and Antonella's situation are 2 totally different things, and to make a case out of it- ESPECIALLY to make it a RACE issue- is beyond ridiculous.
meanwhile- if that's true about Sharpton... that's freakin' AWESOME!!!

not exactly sure why you added  but whatever.....
Idol producers didn't vote for Fantasia, America did - so how is it that THEY (AI) sent the wrong message??? or should AI contestants all be either married/single/no kids, etc etc....
you're talking a whole different topic here...

Whoa. I don't see Fantasia's situation comparable to Antonella's sexy pictorial while prancing around in a sacred National War Memorial. Fantasia gives hope to young, single mothers who might feel stuck in their situation; these mothers' can have optimism that they might not be ostracized by society. Antonella should be ashamed of her disrespectful behavior. And as far as it being singing competition, Fantasia can sing (albeit not my favorite) whereas Antonella is pretty awful.

i HATE when people take an issue, and turn it into a Race issue. HATE it... and that automatically makes me lose any respect for the argument they may have had.
Honestly, i can't stand Antonella, i think she's trash... BUT.. she took slutty pics, just like every other teenage girl that has a myspace page... BUT.. she didnt get paid for them. Big difference. I'm sure there's a bunch of past and present contestants that have taken nude photos at some point in their life, but NOT as part of a business transaction.
To turn it into a racial thing though... absolutely ridiculous.
Ok I know half a dozen people have agreed with you already but I have to agree also!
That and the fact that Antonella is also still around and got this far simply because of her looks. If Frenchie was "hot", they probably would not have booted her. And they won't forcefully cut Antonella b/c she's attractive.

He may be a relative of Strom Thurmond- who was pretty vocal about his racist views, was vehemently against the civil rights movment and was a segregationalist.....

I saw Frenchie on TV earlier in the evening. She amd the interviwer discussed that she was PAID to do her photos, while Antonella was not. Antonella's pictures were allegedly stolen from a computer. However, the pictures WERE taken and she believes they should be held to the same standard.
I personally do not think it is a race issue. If anything, I think it is a size issue.
