I went to CT when I needed my passport in like a week and I got it the same day, it was $$$ though

Yeah he probably knows he will have to spend an arm and a leg if he wants to go on his honeymoon lol.

That's one of the things I love about NJ...you get your Driver's License the same day you go to get it. I never understood why NY can't do that. I hope he is able to get something in time.

Someone recently had to have a passport expedited same day and I think it was under $200.

I couldn't find my passport a week before leaving for Italy. I was able to get an expedited passport within a day or so for a fee.

I paid something similar. I don't remember it being unreasonably high.

yes he should be able to get it expidited. tell him to call today.

I had to do this when i lost my license a couple weeks before i left for a trip.

He went down there today. He can't get a new passport in time as he would have to go into the city and the next available day is the day of the wedding.

I don't have a clue what he is going to do now. Chat Icon

This is not true. I did this last year and I had friends do it this year. He needs to go down to the passport office in the city. Get there early (like 6:30 early) or risk waiting on line for two hours +. As long as he is traveling within two weeks he will get his passport done there with no additional fee besides the standard rush fee the department of travel charges. In other words he is not going to have to add on another $100+ dollars to pay an outside agency to do this. They will have his passport ready the next day.
