Frozen embies not making thaw
so none of the 5 I froze in December made it through the thaw. I had them frozen on day 2 because we were going to wait to batch for PGD.
Anyone ever had this happen or hear of it?
Dr. Stelling said it was not common for this to happen. Swell. It either happened b/c of a problem at the freeze process, the thaw process or poor embryo quality. I directly asked if it was b/c of a genetic problem, etc. and he said most likely not, that some embryos do not react well to freezing and mine do not. Obviously.
THanks for any experience anyone has.

Patty do you know what day they froze them on?
I'm so sorry. 
Ok, I had read that embryos frozen at day 5 don't thaw as well... but didn't read anything about day 1 or 2. Is he leaning towards it being a thawing/freezing issue, because they all didn't make it? Ugh- I'm so sorry Patty. I can't imagine how frustrating and upsetting that must be for you. Please let me know if you need anything.
