A few days ago, DD (20 months) got into her first aid/hygiene kit - you know, the one with the nail clippers, baby brush, etc. So anyway, she started playing with the thermometer and DH took it away. Then she starts playing with the scissors, so he takes those away. She walks away, starts crying, then turns to him and says "Bad bad daddy."

Funniest things your dc have said

My 17 month old gets duck and quack mixed up. She also thinks all birds are ducks. So we often hear "Bye c0ck!!!" coming out of her mouth.

She also yells out no! and points her finger in shame when she does something wrong. Like she'll spit out her water and immediately shame herself lol. I guess she's tired of me doing it.

This isn't something she says but does. Her new favorite thing to do is fist bump so she tries to fist bump pretty much anyone she comes in contact with. She fist bumped an entire table of people at a hibachi restaurant a few weeks ago. Luckily people are very nice lol.

One day during potty training about she (2.5 years old) was stilling in the potty, I was sitting in front of her, she started talking about Boobies. Why she has them, do I have them, where are mine (under my shirt). All sorts of questions. So she looked down at hers and with her little belly roll and the angle that she was looking at them she looked up at me shrugged her shoulders and said "huh....mine have eyebrows" and then just moved on like she said nothing at all....I laughed so hard I almost fell off the stool.

My daughter was great for coming out with memorable things lol.

She has a habit of giving her pets nicknames. When we first got our dog (Dixie), she stood out in the backyard yelling - at the top of her lungs - "Mama, I looooooooove Dix! I just love Dix! She's the cutest little Dix... I just looooooooove Dix!"

She's older now and you would think that the embarrassing announcements would have waned. Nope. My son is potty training. She yells inside to me, "Mama, he's peeing in the backyard AGAIN!" Not in a horrified *omg I can't believe he's doing this* kind of way. Nope, she announced it loud and proud as if it's a perfectly normal, every day occurrence. She even emphasized the "again"... so now everyone knows that this isn't the first time my son has peed all over my backyard.

Sigh. What my neighbors must think of us.

Then when she was about 4, a few days before Thanksgiving, we were talking about the turkey. She looked at me all horrified and said, "we eat the turkey?" And I said well, yes, some people do. She responded with, "no, that's not nice to the turkey! I don't want to eat the turkey!" So I asked her what we SHOULD eat instead. She thought for a minute, and announced very simply, "Bugs. Chocolate covered bugs."

My daughter wanted me to put on "Despicable Me". I told her she can watch it in a little while (I was doing something). Then she asked again and I told her once again "Later" so she huffs and puffs and goes "That's bad that you're not doing this for your child."

We are starting to potty train my 2 1/2 year old son. Whenever he goes pee pee on the potty he gets a stamp and we tell him how proud we are of him. I said in front of him that I was going to the bathroom. He followed me into the bathroom and after I went he started clapping and said "Mommy now you get a stamp. I am so proud of you!"

I told my 4 year old ds to go put his bathing suit on as usual he was taking forever. I found him naked i the corner of the living room and he turned to me and said "look mommy if I rub my pee pee I can make it really big"

Not what dd said but what she did. I was coughing the other day so Dh tells her to pat my back. With a serious face she comes towards me and pats my boobs with both hands. I was cracking up.

my 3yo saw me put lipstick on this morning and said..."mommy, your lipstick is very pretty so don't yell at me or else it will come off."

My girls have said so many cute funny things through the years.

My grandma had just died and we were writing out thank you cards to the people who came to the funeral home. My youngest dd (age 3) took an extra card and pretended to write on it. She said "Dear you thank you for coming to see my body love Great Grammy". I was so funny that even though we were all sad we had a good laugh!

When my oldest was about 2.5 she looked in the mirror and said
"mommy my eyes are blue"
I replied yes and than she asked me "when did you paint them?"

Dd2 is 2 1/2 and says crap for cap. So often she says I want to hold my crap. I want to twist the crap. Where's the crap lmao.

OMG I can't believe I forgot this one!

Just last week we were out to dinner in a nice restaurant and DD had dressed herself to go. She looked fine. But mid way through the meal she looks at me and says "mommy, I forgot to wear underwear."
So I said, well you have a skort on so there is shorts under your skirt so no big deal, but just remember next time.
And then she proceeds to YELL- "I'm not wearing any panties!"
At the top of her lungs.

My son is almost three and can't say his ST or FL blend sounds, and instead replaces them with WH.

So when DH came back from stop and shop, my son said "Oh yay! Daddy came back from the whore!"

DHs response was "shh, you weren't suppose to tell".

I was dying.

I had to take my 2.5 y/o daughter to my OB appt, and brought her into the bathroom when I had to give a pee sample. The bathroom is in the hallway next to the nurses station. As she watches, she says REALLY loudly:

"Ewww, that's yucky"

"Are you gonna drink that?"

"Do you have poop too?"

I forgot to add this lovely one. We were at JFK and of course my girls start complaining they have to go to the bathroom. So I take both girls into a stall with me. There was a woman next to us making very loud noises and there was a strong smell. My littlest starts holding her nose and says "someone ate junk food last night and now they have diarrhea". I try to keep them quite and both girls keep saying eww mommy it stinks, its gross. I couldn't wait to get out of there.
